Details: Project gained inspiration from multiple
Japanese cultural spaces like the Ryoku
Gokugikan Stadium, a sacred site for Sumo
wrestling, or Japanese garden entrances
with hollowed out space.
Since ‘SUMO Yakiniku’ got its popularity for
bringing Japanese BBQ to Vietnamese people,
the space went in-depth with Japanese way
of designing. From the space forming to the
material finishing, it brings out a fresh
breath of modernism into the space, making
it one and only of the branch to have such
a special design.
